2024 was a good year with three amazing writing conferences and an uptick in both reading and writing time. While attending ThrillerFest at the end of May, my short story, Tides of Crime, was on the NASDAQ board in Times Square for its first place award from The Bookfest. I also volunteered at PitchFest and sat on the panel "Jealousy, Greed, or Revenge? Motivations for Murder."
At the end of August we headed out to Nashville to attend both the Killer Nashville conference and Bouchercon, where I sat on more panel discussions and did some scouting around town for potential gravesites for an upcoming novel.
